Over the next couple of weeks you can celebrate Charles Dickens’ birthday, listen to a story, learn how to use Microsoft PowerPoint, or learn English as a second language. - Tomorrow, Friday, February 3rd, the Friday Film Series will show the movie A Tale of Two Cities in Concert from 2 to 4 pm at the Vernon Hills Library.
- On Saturday, Febraury 4th, ArtsPower, a national traveling children’s theater, will perform “Are You My Mother?” for all ages at the library, from 11 am to 12 pm.
- On Sunday, Febraury 5th, the library in Vernon Hills will celebrate Charles Dickens birthday from 2 to 3:30 pm, with snippets from different films, birthday cake, and stories.
- On Monday, February 6th, from 1 to 4 pm there will be AARP tax counseling available for senior citizens of Vernon Hills Illinois.
