Vernon Hills Community Prepares for Fundraiser

Vernon HillsThe Vernon Hills community is preparing for a fundraiser.  The Vernon Hills Police Department is preparing for its annual St. Baldricks event, which raises money for children who are battling cancer.  Each year people around the country celebrate St. Baldricks Day by shaving their heads, an act of solidarity for the children living with cancer, as well as a fundraiser.  Those participating in the shave-a-thon raise money by getting pledges from people who are supporting their efforts toward the worthy cause.

St. Baldricks won’t take place in Vernon Hills until March 10th, but now is a great time to show your support and make a pledge.  The Vernon Hills Police Department hopes to raise at least $5,000 from this fundraiser, a wonderful goal to help children in the Vernon Hills community and beyond.  Click here to learn more about St. Baldricks and how you can support this worthy cause.

The Vernon Hills community is one that residents are proud to be a part of.  The VHPD St. Baldricks fundraiser is but one example of how community members get involved and give back.  Please contact me, Sharron Kelley, today to learn more about living in Vernon Hills.  I have access to all Vernon Hills real estate that is listed for sale as well as a wealth of knowledge about the Northern Illinois area.
